Conclusion

Mrs. X went through a very complex and involved surgery, repair, and rehabilitation. It is clear from her

progress that the most important thing she did was attend therapy and complete her home program. If

she had not completed her home exercises, her therapy would have taken longer and her pain would

have lasted for and extended time.

This experience has shown me how complicated and exciting being a physical therapist is. I have an

immense about of knowledge to learn about the body. I also have to make sure my clinical notes are

exact and complete. Finally, I have to remember that the people I will be treating are real people with

busy lives who just want to stop hurting. I will be able to help them with that and I can not wait.
